Some mindless people have been damaging the trees that we have planted on the res this year. To these people i suppose its a laugh but to the committee its a slap in the face after all the hard work and spare time they have spent planting them.
The path has been broken up in places as well, we are not happy about the damage that has been done and if we find out who as done the damage or helped others do it we will not hesitate in banning them from the club.
Also brought to mind is the gates being left open, please close the gates when you come on to the res and when you leave.

The res has opened with a bang ,there was a big turn out on the first day with just a few pegs left to fish. We had a walk round at about 11 o’clock and there where one or two pegs left to fish. The down side was that with all the people walking around the fish move out and it makes catching them that bit harder.
Anyway just persavere and when the place gets a bit more quite people will start to catch .

Hello to you all,
I have setup a gallery for you all to upload your fishing images. It is the same software we had for the galley on the old site before the data loss so a few of you will know how to use it. Any problems feel free to ask on the forum.
I will be changing a few things on it over the next week so you may notice things changing.
Feel free to upload and share any pictures, but please fishing images but PLEASE NO zip files. If any zip files are found they will be removed as they can contain nasty files to corrupt peoples pc’s.
So just sign up to the gallery and post your images !

The Res closes today the 28th Feb till the 28th April 2007. We are locking the main gate on the 1st of March, there will be no entry on to the Res untill the gate is opened again on the 28th of April. we are doing work on the Res during the break ( clearing rubbish, work on the water and all the other jobs that have to be done when there is less disruption to members fishing time.

Hello to you all,
Finally after a month of downtime due to a turkish hacker and then my host going bust i have managed to get the new Fleetwood Reservoir site back up and running. Everything on the site is brand new. This is good and bad at the same time so let me explain.
Bad Points.
The old forum data has been lost.
The old image gallery has been lost.
The old site layout has been lost.
Good Points.
New site layout has been created. Which will be much easier for the Admins to run. Also on the new site you can all leave comments on the latest articles on the main section of the site. All you have to do is register to the main site by using the button at the top right. This login is seperate to the forum. You could not do this on on the old site. However any comments posted on the main site ( not the forum ) will not appear until a moderator has approved it, this is to keep the site suitable for family viewing. So all in all the main site is now easier to run and more interactive for the club members.
A new forum has been created with a better and more upto date script. This will help fight against forum spam bots and help us admins keep the forum clean and tidy. The only down side is you will need to create a new forum account before you can post. So go and post away i will give £10 to the 1st person to reach 100 posts ! ( as long as they are not just spam of course ).
As i said above the gallery has been lost but if the demand is great enough from the members for a new one i will more than happily create this for you.
So finally all i would like to say is if you have any ideas for the main site or new areas for the forum please feel free to leave a comment on this post or leave a message on the forum. I hope you like the new site.
Regards
Alan Duggan Jnr
