Some mindless idiots have done some damage on the res first they have thrown the bins for the net dip in the reds between pegs 9 and 10. ok these weren't used much, but when we did fill them up someone emptied them, but this does not mean they can be thrown about. Secondly they have ripped out the posts that were put in just as you go up the steps, again these were thrown into the reeds between 9 and 10. The committee have spent alot of time over the years on the res doing alot of work, so there is somewhere local for people to go and fish, we dont get paid for doing this and we are not doing this work for the fun of it, just so some idiots can go and damage the work we have done. they have also smashed some of the flags we put down at the top of the steps. If these people are caught they will be barred from fishing the res. If anyone has any info on who has done this please report it to a committee man. This damage might not have been done by a member but someone getting on because the gate is been left open or unlocked, can i just remind all members that they must lock the gate when they enter or leave the res. Also the person/s responseable for the damage could also be a member who did not join this year but still have a key from last year, so it has been suggested that the lock gets changed every year, i will post a poll to see what members say and the decision will be made by the committee and announced at the agm in feb.
