Had an overnight session at Glasson docks on 10th and 11th Jan 08.
Me n a mate went with ledgered deadbaits.1st night was a little quiet then I managed to bag a nice little jack pike just over 4 pound.Then an hour or so later the mate landed a 13pound beauty.
So before we went for a kip we had a recast,settled down...slept well until mateys alarm screamed off.....(I had to wake him at 8am!) He managed to bag himself another nice pike of 12pound.I wasnt getting jelous by this time honest!
Anyways about an hour or so later my alarm finally springs into life and as I just about get the net ready the bugger unhooks itself(Must have been at leats a 20pounder
)
So sit down for 5mins when his bleedin alarm springs to life again.....this was the last pike we caught between us but it was a smidge over 17 pound.Very nice fish indeedy! Overall a good days fishing in my opinion.
The only thing that did bug me was that i supplied the hooklengths,the bait and even the bleeding bivvy for my mate!.....he,s deffo paying next time
